Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in C/C++.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with embedded system development.
  • Experience with debugging embedded software/hardware issues.
  • Excellent problem solving skills, with the ability to debug.
  • Excellent coding skill for C/C++/ Python.

About the job

The team's mission is to provide reliable, scalable, and efficient 4G/5G embedded wireless platform with Google innovative technologies on products. You will work with early hardware prototypes, design new next-generation features, and ship high-volume consumer hardware. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and deploying software/firmware for production devices supporting wireless 4G/5G connectivity.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement core software platform for embedded modem development, and streamline product innovation.
  • Manage prototype hardware systems, accelerating development timelines.
  • Create system and factory tools, and automate regression test systems to optimize performance, validate features, and ensure quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the design and implementation of factory calibration and test systems, and ensure product compliance.
