Technical Delivery Executive, State and Local Government

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in program management.
  • Successful candidates will be required to possess or obtain US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) security clearance, as this is an essential requirement for this role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certifications in CAPM, PMP or PgMP.
  • 8 years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • Experience building relationships with government officials and C-level stakeholders by developing an understanding of the customer business and leading data-driven insights.
  • Experience working with new and emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud and broader enterprise technology transformation space.
  • Experience collaborating with channel partners, systems integrators, and third-party developers to deliver high-impact solutions.
  • Experience collaborating and building technical solutions in partnership with Illinois state and local government agencies.

About the job

As a Technical Delivery Executive, you will work with Google’s strategic public sector customers on large multi-year transformational engagements underpinned by Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to drive value for those customers. You will provide thought leadership, delivery management, consulting, and technical goals to customer engagements while working with Google's cross-functional executives and key technical leaders to oversee the planning and deployment of solutions via Google Cloud Platform.

In this role, you will be a credible thought leader on the subject matter domain of the respective organization. You will establish and lead a strategic planning framework for a complex program portfolio including direct influence over resourcing decisions, planning cadence, and planning stakeholders. Additionally, you will drive measurable GCP platform adoption that is correlated to execution velocity and will be a change advocate responsible for initiating and leading multiple customer organizations through pivots needed to address shifts in business trends and priorities.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Own the efforts to lead and win large and complex Google Cloud-led professional services engagements.
  • Leverage partners and a broader external ecosystem to influence and ensure success with our strategic customers, including creating plans to realize our goals in the customers landscape, focused on delivering value early as part of the roadmap to help self-fund the transformation.
  • Establish partnerships and trusted relationships, and influence cross-functional leaders, advocating for the customers we engage with.
  • Lead, with the account and extended Google teams, the full business-cycle for complex professional services engagements and value based initiatives, including business development, Google differentiators, and presenting to C-level executives.
